ABOUT Rachel E. Frickleton

Rachel Frickleton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC60972873), Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (MG60972872), and Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (CO61069374) Employed by Cerebral. Supervised by Jeff Gishkin, Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Rachel received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Gonzaga University.Rachel utilizes a variety of counseling methods including a Strengths Based Approach,Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy Techniques in order to help her clients develop insight through the counseling process, find creative solutions, explore difficult relationships and complex human experiences and navigate the challenges that they face in their day-to-day lives. Rachel has specific experience with pregnant and parenting women, perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression, and infertility as well as experience with combat veterans, military sexual trauma survivors, members of the LGBTQ+, and their families. She is passionate about building a trusting therapeutic relationship in an accessible, efficient, and safe manner while remaining sensitive to the needs of diverse populations. In her free time, Rachel enjoys her daily dog walks, re-reading Harry Potter, Grey's Anatomy reruns, faithfully watching Jeopardy, taking her baby to new parks, laughing at her wife’s ‘dad jokes’, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
