Morenike is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate working under the supervision of Ashley Kuehne, LPC-S. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in 2017. After graduating, she did a year of service through AmeriCorps, then began graduate school the following year. She received her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2020. Morenike is passionate about all things related to trauma, especially developmental/complex trauma, relational trauma, as well as cultural trauma, and intergenerational trauma. Her faith is the foundation of her work, and she practices from a feminist, multicultural, and trauma-informed lens, which in-part means that she views each client as a whole person by considering their journey and context and tries her best to create a safe environment to hold space for anything a person may bring to a session. No topic is off-limits. In her free time, Morenike enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, gardening, painting/collaging, and spending time with her dog named Garvey, who is a very feisty Dachshund.
