Miriam Fife is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor, 178.012353. Employed by Cerebral. Supervised by Holly Nikels, PhD, LCPC, ACS. Miriam Fife is a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals who have been let down by traditional tools and supports. She believes everyone has the right to be true to themselves by following their intuition, or internal guidance, to live the life that feels right for them. Miriam received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2013, and is trained in Carl Rogers’ person-centered approach and the importance of a safe, judgement-free therapeutic relationship with her clients. Because she believes that everyone is unique, she has trained in a variety of evidence-based tools and integrates neuropsychology with a playful and artistic approach in her sessions. Along with extensive experience in supporting depression, anxiety, grief, and chronic illness, Miriam also specializes in supporting homeschooling families, challenges in parenting, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and the Autistic spectrum, and situations of domestic abuse. In her free time she enjoys hand-stitching and sewing, going down informational rabbit holes, and playing board games with her kids.
