Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fresno. Michelle has training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She has experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use and working with individuals both in recovery and actively battling addiction. Michelle also has experience working with individuals in the legal system either actively going to court or coping with probation/parole. Michelle focuses on providing clients with a non-judgmental environment to assist in achieving individual goals. Michelle is passionate about reducing the stigma associated with mental health treatment and increasing access to mental health services. In her free time, Michelle enjoys baking cookies, organizing, traveling, and spending time with her daughter.
