ABOUT Melissa Hamblet

Melissa Hamblet is a therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Having received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Florida and her Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida, Melissa has worked extensively with adults facing difficulties with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and addictions. Additionally, she is LGBTQ+ affirming. Melissa takes an eclectic approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, focusing on empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. Melissa is passionate about working with individuals from a non-judgmental position to encourage positive change. In her free time, Melissa enjoys relaxing outdoors, experiencing new vegan cuisine, and spending time with her children and family.
