ABOUT Maryssa Zafra

Maryssa Zafra is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Throughout her years of working in the mental health field, Maryssa gained experience in individual, family and couples counseling. She specializes in working with individuals and couples who have difficulty coping with everyday life situations. She has helped these individuals improve their everyday functioning and helped couples work through some difficult times in their relationship. Maryssa has been a therapist for over 6 years and has taken an active role in the community, as she has worked with nonprofit organizations to assist families in Broward County obtain counseling services. In addition to my counseling skills, she has held a leadership role with a nonprofit organization for the past several years, overseeing the daily functions of a grant funded program.

It's not always easy to ask for help but it takes a string and courageous person to do so and you have taken the first step! Maryssa looks forward to working with you!
