Mary Bryant is an Associate Therapist, LMSW, supervised by Charleta Wylie, LCSW, CSW, LCAS, CCS, SAP. Mary attended UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC-Wilmington for her BSW and Fordham University for her MSW. Mary was also recently recognized as Cerebral Therapist of the Month for July 2022, which was an incredible honor! She has a wide range of experience with diverse populations, including those struggling with substance abuse, trauma, complex mental health issues, anxiety, depression, etc., among other things. Mary believes that life is a combination of the good and the difficult, and if we can live somewhat in the middle, embracing the good and coping with the difficult, we can fully experience all life has to offer! Mary believes that you already have the solutions or skills to handle your most difficult situations, and she would love to help empower you to discover what they are. As her client, her greatest wish for you is that you consider therapy a safe, non-judgmental space in which you can feel free to be YOU. In her free time, Mary enjoys hanging out with her family, running, enjoying the outdoors, cheering on her husband's football team, and spoiling her two fur children, Coach and little Jerry Seinfeld.
My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to find peace with exactly who and what I am. To take pride in my thoughts, my appearance, my talents, my flaws and to stop this incessant worrying that I can't be loved as I am. - Anais Nin
