Marlee McLaughlin-Bell is a Master Social Worker and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Social Research from Trinity College Dublin. She understands the impact mental health can have on our lives and has worked with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use/abuse, or who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness in an effort to help clients practice their coping skills for success in everyday life. Marlee has focused on using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing to assist her clients with reaching their goals. She believes in providing an environment based on patience, compassion, and understanding. A key aspect of her practice lies in the belief that people are strong and when given the tools, they are able to use their strengths in successful ways to enact change in their lives. In her free time, She enjoys Football Sundays, watching movies with her husband and two adorable dogs, baking cookies, writing in her journal, and spending time staying connected with friends and family near.
