Marisa utilizes collaborative treatment approaches based on a person’s individual needs because she feels that every person is unique with a different story. Her therapeutic approach is client centered and can include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Marisa strives to provide a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental space where one can feel empowered to grow and gain self awareness. Through the exploration of their personal values and strengths, Marisa strives to help empower individuals to achieve a sense of resiliency where they can live authentically. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and anything related to the arts.
