Leslie Knight is a social worker with a background in journalism. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism before tumbling into a career in social work. Leslie received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California. In all of her roles, she has focused on empathy and understanding, on asking questions to better know someone’s story. Leslie is trained in CBT, CPT and CETA. She is a licensed associate in Washington and is pursuing full independence licensure as well as pursuing licensing in Oregon. She can’t wait to meet you and hold space for you to tell your story and to see how all the different threads tie together just as she has for herself and for many patients before.
We can choose courage or we can choose comfort, but we can’t have both. Not at the same time. Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage. - Brene Brown, Rising Strong
