Laurie Harrier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master of Social Work in 2011 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Family Practice. Laurie has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and guides individuals to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. She is passionate about using authenticity and a strengths-based approach to empower individuals to develop practical coping skills for effective management of anxiety and depression in order to achieve personal fulfillment. In her free time, Laurie enjoys reading, yoga, video gaming, crafting, and spending time with her family and pets.
