Lauren Heller is a licensed clinical social worker who received her Masters in Social Work from Simmons University. She also has a background as a yoga instructor and an art therapist. She uses evidence-based practices like Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as more creative-based tools. She is passionate about helping clients find alternate narratives to their current way of thinking, and empowering them to find their voice and meaning. She incorporates mindfulness and creative tools with clients who have an interest. Her goal is to support the whole self, and she sees therapy as a collaborative process. She loves painting, writing prose, being in nature, and the sound and smell of the ocean.
