Latasha Barber is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), registered in Missouri, #2021011025. She received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and trained in healthy relationship building, effective communication and providing mental health services. She is influenced by Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Narrative and Existential techniques to assist in overcoming barriers associated with ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and relationship distress. She understands what it’s like to feel misunderstood in a world filled with overwhelming decisions and uncertainties. Her passion is to work with people in creating meaning to life experiences, boundary setting, establishing effective coping skills to feel your feelings and to begin thriving rather than surviving. In her free time, she enjoys dipping her feet in the sand while visiting the beach with her family, reading and enjoying nature.
