Kim Sylla is a Licensed clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience as a therapist working with diverse populations. She received her Master of Social Work from Temple University with a concentration in Direct Service. Kim has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy and Trauma Informed Care. She has an engaging strengths-based approach that fosters trust in the therapeutic alliance and enhances the motivation and growth of the client. She is client-entered and dedicated to meeting people where they are and improving comfort level and access to mental health care for each individual. In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading memoir and historical fiction, watching foreign films, participating in community service work, traveling locally and internationally and spending time doing almost anything with her son.
