Kate Haznaw holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is licensed as an LCSW in the state of Massachusetts. As a college student, she volunteered with various mental health and crisis intervention organizations. She saw firsthand that timely and accessible mental health treatment is crucial to prevent crisis and to promote overall wellness. Kate’s experience includes outpatient psychotherapy utilizing CBT-informed techniques, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy to improve mental health and help clients achieve their goals. She also has experience in inpatient psychiatry implementing crisis intervention and solution-focused techniques to aid clients in their transition back to the community. Kate works collaboratively with clients to address mental health in a holistic manner to promote improved mental health and quality of life. In her free time, Kate loves going to the beach, rewatching New Girl (over and over), and rock climbing.
