Karen Moffitt is a provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist located in the state of Nebraska. She graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Florida State University with a concentration in Trauma-Informed Practice. Karen is a client-centered, strengths-based clinician with over ten years of experience working with individuals and families; adults, adolescents, and children, who are working through personal challenges and are experiencing issues ranging from adjustment and childhood trauma to severe and persistent mental illnesses. Karen has a particular interest in working with adults who are struggling with their mental health and help them develop healthy boundaries and increase confidence to overcome these challenges which inhibit them from achieving their full potential. Karen’s primary methods of treatment include Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. Karen strives to alleviate psychological suffering and promote a positive sense of self and self-esteem to help clients nurture and discover new ways to find joy in their lives. In her free time, Karen enjoys reading, running with her dog, and participating in anything outdoors with her family.
