Jodi Engelstein is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. She holds a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Jodi draws from many different therapy theories and strategies to facilitate the growth and change that clients may need to incorporate into their lives. Her educational and practical training aligns with evidence-based practices that incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution- Focused Therapy, Multi-Systemic Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Management, and Person-Centered Therapy. She believes, as well, that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone and the foundation upon which everything else in therapy is based upon. Jodi will always make sure that the relationship between therapist and client is grounded in respect, empathy, and unconditional acceptance and regard. Jodi loves the ocean, beautiful flowers, cooking, antiquing and her husband, sons, and Goldendoodle, Grace.
