Hunter Davis is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A17206) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA-25238) working under the supervision of Cynthia Burman, LCMHCS, LCMHC.
Hunter has a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling and holds certifications in Motivational Interviewing; Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist; and is currently completing the CCTS-I (Trauma Specialist). A few of her specialities include: anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress management, trauma, domestic violence/abuse, relationship issues, self-destructive behaviors, and low self-esteem/image.
Hunter pulls from a variety of evidenced-based practices to meet each individual's unique needs - an eclectic approach. She often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered, Developmental, and Mindfulness. Hunter believes the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important indicators of growth in therapy, and she is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel comfortable, heard, validated, and supported. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her son.
