Ebony Jackson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. She began her career in the mental health field over 10 years ago and has worked in multiple capacities in the areas of child welfare, community mental health and with homeless individuals and families. Her counseling style is an eclectic approach in which she pulls from Narrative Therapy, Strength’s Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy to create a very Client Centered Approach. Some of her specialties include depression, anxiety and self-esteem. Ebony provides a safe space for clients to present their authentic stories and assist them in rewriting the narrative. She believes that the client is the expert in their life, and she is merely a vessel to assist them in getting to the desired destination. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, hiking with friends and floating in any body of water she can find.
