Diane Foley has been a special education teacher for over 15 years and recently went back to school to get her degree as a counselor. She is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Throughout her years as a counselor and a teacher, Diane has seen children and families overcome challenges with behavioral and emotional concerns.
She has treated individuals, families, and adolescents who are struggling with low self-esteem, anger, grief, trauma, parenting challenges, adjustments to blended families, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Diane incorporates Cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and emotionally focused therapy as some of her preferred treatment modalities. For younger children, she incorporates play techniques into CBT. She uses motivational interviewing to help challenge negative thinking and encourage clients to use positive thinking patterns.
There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking. - Brian Tracy
