Corinna Luddington is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She holds her master’s of arts in marriage, family, and couple’s counseling from the University of Walden, Minneapolis and her bachelor’s of science is in Psychology from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She has extensive experience working in both private and nonprofit outpatient mental health agencies. During her career she has gained the understanding of creating a safe and trusting environment for those she works with. It is essential for her to ensure the wellbeing of her clients through providing understanding, empathy, and patience while allocating treatment that best suits the client’s needs. Corinna has expertise in systemic work and individual therapy as well as group therapy. She takes on a bio-psycho-social perspective where she utilizes a multitude of therapeutic modalities to help clients through trauma, self identity concerns, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, and sexual assault. Corinna prides herself on having worked with many different populations, lifestyles and cultures because each client and their family bring on their own culture and dynamic that is special to them. Corinna is passionate about aiding others in having a positive mental health state by focusing on self-reflection and the ability to create positivity around one’s self. Life provides enough chaos that the importance of self-care is even more critical in our world today! In Corinna’s spare time she loves to spend time with her family, travel and learn about the world by immersing herself in food, fashion, and culture!
