Cora McElwain (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is very grateful to have worked with many folks who are recovering from trauma and grief, are experiencing challenges with their mental health, or are in a big life transition. She has experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma Therapies. Her passion is providing quality and accessible mental healthcare to the LGBTQ+ community, trauma survivors, folks in the kink or poly communities, and everyone in between! Her approach is intersectional, trauma-informed, and client-centered, which means that she tries to create a safe and warm environment to work as a team on your therapeutic goals. In her free time, she entertains her rambunctious dog, is often on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee, reads fantasy novels, and is a lover of all things gymnastics.
