Colleen Bender is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master of Social Work from the College of Saint Scholastica.
Colleen is a Certified Grief Counselor who has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness practices. She believes relationships are fundamental to life and the therapeutic process, and because of this, she enjoys developing positive therapeutic connections. Colleen provides an empathic, non-judgmental, down-to-earth space where individuals are the experts of their lives and where they can process their experiences and emotions.
Colleen is passionate about collaborating with and meeting individuals where they are at while walking with them as they navigate their life journeys to living a life they desire to live. She is a life-long learner whose free time is devoted to family, running, biking, hiking, golfing, and traveling.
