Christina is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received her Master of Counseling degree from Waynesburg University with a concentration of addictions. Christina has 10 years of experience working in mental health and substance use disorders, using techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care. She believes that a trusting relationship between client and therapist is crucial to building rapport, and Christina has the ability to meet the client where they are at in order to gain an understanding of current stressors and goals the client wishes to achieve. She is passionate about helping clients identify current stressors and helping them develop healthier coping strategies to improve stressors or mental health concerns. In her free time, Christina enjoys spending time with her children and husband, crocheting, crafting, and going camping.
