ABOUT Cheryl Carpenter

Cheryl Carpenter is a Registered Mental Health Counselor and received her Master of Science in Counseling from the Nova Southeastern University. She is registered with the State of Florida under the supervision of a Qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Cheryl has experience in Existential Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Domestic Violence Advocacy, Parenting Training, and Child-Parent Relationship Training. She believes that clients are often presented with issues that have escalated to the point of distress. As a Mental Health Professional, she provides clients with the resources to help them cope with their day-to-day strengths and challenges. Cheryl is an empathetic and client-centric professional with extensive academic and professional training coupled with hands-on clinical experience in working with clients from various age groups. She is passionate about normalizing mental health treatment and improving access to mental health care for all. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys watching movies, completing Sudoku puzzles, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
