Charles (Charlie) King is a LPC, LCDC, LMFT-Associate (currently supervised by Jill Wheeler LMFT-S). Charlie received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Lewis University, MBA from Saint Leo University, M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Liberty University, and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Houston Baptist University. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. In 2014 Charlie received an advanced RYT-500 yoga teacher certificate from Bo Forbes at the New England School of Integrative Yoga and Embodied Awareness. Charlie began his career as a therapist after a successful career as an engineer for a major oil company - living and working in many international locations as an ex-pat worker. Charlie has training and experience using EMDR, ACT, CBT, Gottman marriage and family therapy, Internal Family System, and various modalities of group therapy. He works with members of the following populations; substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. When not working Charlie enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, entertaining his dogs, vegetable gardening, studying eastern philosophies, and reading history/biographies.
