Catherine Edelstein is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at California State University, Long Beach, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. Catherine utilizes the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt, and Person-Centered Therapy. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression, and maintains the philosophy that therapy requires collaboration and trust, with every unique individual deserving individualized care and support. Catherine is passionate about destigmatizing mental health treatment through advocacy, education, and widening access to those who have historically been denied or limited in receiving mental health care. In her free time, Catherine enjoys baking, watching movies, playing board games, and going to see live music.
