Casey Dungan is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in the state of Kentucky. She received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2014. Casey has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Casey believes that our past influences, but does not determine our future. We are responsible for the choices we make and the past cannot be changed, but you can choose what you do today and in the future and the only person you can control is yourself. When you know better, you can do better, and social, cultural, biological, familial, and environmental systems impact, influence, affect, and sometimes limit individuals’ freedom of choice. Casey is passionate about helping her clients, removing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and Addiction, and improving the accessibility of mental health care services to all. In her free time, Casey enjoys playing with her twins and spending time with her husband, gardening, dining out, and traveling.
