Candise Morris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree from Appalachian State University, in which she was also certified to teach high school grades 9-12. She obtained her Masters Degree from Capella University in 2011 and began her licensed counselor career shortly thereafter, with 9 years of direct counseling experience as of 2021. She has worked with adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse challenges, and/or general life challenges. She has provided individual and group counseling sessions and desires to work together with people to determine needs, desires, challenges, and growth opportunities. Candise enjoys helping others with their life problems. If you are facing tough decisions, feeling depressed, angry, anxious, or experience Post-traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms she believes a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach can help. She also utilizes other therapy models based on presenting symptoms such as Reality Therapy and Christian-based counseling if requested. Candise believes there is nothing that people cannot overcome with a desire and will to work together, and a willingness to implement changes.
