Barbara Hershberger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in both North and South Carolina. She received her Master's in Social Work from Boise State University and has bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Psychology. She has worked with people who face challenges and concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, parenting problems, life transitions and trauma, among others. She believes in the benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and uses other models of therapy such as Christian-based therapy, if requested. Her counseling style is calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. She understands that reaching out for help to navigate life's struggles can be difficult, so she is passionate about providing encouragement and support to those on this journey. In her free time, she enjoys quilting, crocheting, traveling, spending time with her husband of over 30 years and playing with her small dog, Moo Moo.
