Barb is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. She graduated from Eastern University with a degree in Clinical Counseling. Barb has twenty five years of experience in providing individual and group psychotherapy, and provides clinical supervision to other therapists. She has extensive experience with parent and child/adolescent issues, those impacted by trauma and abuse, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Young Adult Transitions in Life and LGBTQIA teens and young adults. Barb draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Positive Psychology as well as incorporating creative arts therapies into treatment. She is passionate about providing a counseling environment that encourages respect, safety , trust and honesty, while tailoring each session individually to client needs. Barb is enthusiastic about helping others heal so they can become their best selves and have a sense of happiness and fulfillment in their life. Barb loves Pilates and being outside hiking, she is also an avid dog lover and she and her Chocolate Lab Zuma are a certified therapy dog team.
