Audrey Sarto is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, (ACSW #103498) employed by Cerebral and supervised by Dr. Kay Gresham, PhD, LCSW. She received her Master of Clinical Social Work from California State University Long Beach where she focused her studies on advocacy and care for marginalized populations and the mental and physiological effects of systemic racism. Audrey has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care. Her therapeutic approach offers a compassionate and supportive environment that fosters collaborative relationships, with the goal of empowering each of her clients and helping them find meaning, purpose, and balance within their life. Audrey is passionate about working with individuals who have been disempowered by society, with an emphasis on life transitions, grief, childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, family of origin issues, depression, anxiety, sexuality, gender, nonmonogamy, body-image issues, oppression, and relational challenges. In her free time, Audrey enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, being active in nature, and cooking/baking with her family.
