Atosha McLean is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She received her Master of Arts from Regent University and Bachelor's degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Atosha has experience in Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She has experience working with clients within an employee assistance clinical hotline, outpatient, inpatient treatment settings, and home and community-based settings. She believes in building an authentic, trusting, and judgment-free counseling rapport with her clients while providing the support, skills, and strategies that assist her clients in achieving their mental wellness goals of empowerment, authenticity, and personal growth. She is committed to listening, helping her clients process their thoughts, seeking to understand your emotions, and building trust with authenticity. She is passionate about providing excellent mental health treatment and improving accessibility to mental health to everyone! In her free time, Atosha enjoys listening to music, decorating her home, and spending time with her family and pet "grandchild" Paul the cat.
