Hoping to make a positive change in the world, Bryan's career began as a journalist. When he realized that there was a better way to use his passion for helping others, he decided to make a change and is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Bryan focuses on stress-management and coping with life changes as a result of the pandemic, specifically with clients who suffer from anxiety and depression. Bryan is also an experienced Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and specializes in crisis-intervention. During sessions, Bryan utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed care. Bryan enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels, and has even written a few short stories of his own. He also is an avid Final Fantasy fan who enjoys narrative-driven video games when he is not working. Also, Bryan has many pets, including two dogs, and a hedgehog. Recently, Bryan has found a new passion for gardening, and is in the process of constructing a bean arch in his front yard.
