Andrew Dyer is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and is working towards fulfilling his hours for licensure. He received his Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. His concentration was addressing depression and co-occurring disorders in LGBTQIA+ individuals by using identity-affirming interventions. Andrew has experience in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Andrew forms strong, healthy relationships that allow for clients to engage in self-exploration and to pursue their personal growth. He strives to educate people on the importance of mental health and to address the inequities in access to mental health care. During his leisure time, Andrew enjoys going to the gym, cuddling with his cat, playing video games, and spending time with his partner and friends.
