Ana is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, ASW9409. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from California State University Stanislaus. She has experience in Cognitive Therapy (CBT) Trust-Based Relationship Intervention, Motivation Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. She is passionate about normalizing mental health treatment and improving accessibility to mental health care for all while facing the social stigma of mental illness in the 21st century. Although Ana enthusiastically serves and is sensitive to all cultures, she holds a special place in her heart in reducing the lack of education and taboo that surrounds mental health in the Hispanic culture. Ana is bilingual in Spanish and English. In her free time Ana enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, bike riding and shopping at thrift stores.
