Amber Liponoga is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Amber received a Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri. Amber has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and teaching Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills such as distress tolerance and mindfulness. She has worked in community mental health as well as hospital settings. She has also worked extensively with individuals who have chronic illnesses. Amber believes in creating a relationship to help build on client strengths in order to facilitate growth and change. She is passionate about improving access to mental health care through telehealth as she believes everyone should have access regardless of where they live. Amber enjoys spending her time with her two cats and two German Shepard mix dogs who think they are the same size as her cats.
