Amber Mattheus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned a degree in Psychology, as well as Social Work, at West Texas A&M University and is a LMSW in both private practice, and the hospital setting, providing therapy to children and adults, specializing in grief, anxiety, and depression. In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, gardening, traveling, and binging on HGTV shows.
Her mental health mantra is: "Faith it 'til you make it." - Not "fake it 'til you make it," but having faith in your own capacity to overcome adversity. I think at some point, we all have a difficult time seeing in the dark, and with a little faith in ourselves (and sometimes guidance from a therapist) we can take a step forward into that darkness to be able to walk through to emerge on the other side."
