Allison Shew has resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado since 2002. After earning her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Rockies in 2010, Allison proceeded to work hands on in both the private and public sector, with clients ranging from adolescents to adults with a variety of mental and emotional struggles. In Allison’s 20 years of mental health experience, she has completed extensive work with adults with a variety of diagnoses. Through both her work related experience and helping clients navigate the world post pandemic, Allison understands the unique challenges facing individuals today. Allison is passionate about raising mental health awareness in her community and utilizes a strength-based approach with clients to allow them to feel empowered and in charge of their own life. In her free time, Allison enjoys the many outdoor opportunities that Colorado has to offer including scenic hikes and time at the driving range.
