Alexis Adams is an Associate Licensed Counselor in the state of Indiana. She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2018. Alexis has experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy. She views the client as the expert, that they know themselves better than anyone else, and her role is the catalyst to facilitate the change the client is seeking. Alexis values meeting the client where they are in order to help them get to where they want to be; this includes using a variety of therapeutic techniques that meet the needs of the individual client. She is passionate about helping clients to understand how their early life experiences impact their current functioning. In her free time, Alexis enjoys working out, being outside, going on walks, and spending time with family and friends.
