Yosely Cruz-Fernandez is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been in the nursing field for twenty one years serving patients/customers in several hospitals and communities across the country. She has practiced in many areas, including neuroscience nursing, healthcare administration, nursing education, critical care medicine, cardiology, and psychiatry. Yosely received a Master of Science in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Wayne State University, a Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate from Regis College, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University.
Her experiences in both large metropolitan areas and rural communities with limited access to health care have ignited a passion for providing access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. You can find her spending quality time outdoors with her husband, three children, and pets or reading books and nursing journals in her free time.
