I am a Nurse Practitioner, Mother and an Outdoor Enthusiast. I have cared for patients over 15 years of my nurse practitioner career. As a leader in the Nurse Practitioner community, I had own and practice independently working in primary care and psychiatric integrated practice. My inquisitiveness seeks those untold stories. I believe the importance of listening, offering useful feedback and caring for patients and students. I think mothering and nursing are very closely related in aspects of caring. My children are older now, doing their own adventures. Outside of work, I practice what I advocate for self-care, by practicing yoga and meditation; and enjoying family time exploring the Northeast in all the seasons by kayaking and skiing. I look forward to meeting you. Wendy Sergeant, DNP, APRN-BC, PHMNP-BC, CAGS-PSYCH NP, MSN, MA
