Vonnie Rouse is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She has been a nurse for over twenty one years and a nurse practitioner for nearly twelve years. She spent half of her nursing career in Solid Organ Transplant. After receiving her Master of Science in Nursing as a nurse practitioner, she has dedicated her career to helping her patients holistically by addressing not only medical symptoms but also addressing mental health as top priorities so her patients can feel their best. She has had experience in a large university hospital on a medical/surgical floor, in an acute care in an outpatient center, and in-home health visitations. She has spent the last few years dedicated to identifying areas of her patients’ health, both mentally and physically, that need to be addressed in the primary care setting and bridging the gap between the patients’ health at home and their doctor’s office. She is passionate about identifying areas in patient care to make it more easily accessible and affordable.
