Dr. Tina Williams is triple board-certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She began her career in the Emergency Department as a RN and quickly realized the importance of preventive care. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's in Nursing from Emory University, Post-Master's in psych-mental health from Georgia College State University and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Williams has worked in many diverse settings that have allowed integration of psych-mental health care including Primary and Internal Medicine, Women's Health, Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, Urgent and Acute Care. Her experience in both large metropolitan and rural areas, during a mission or in-home delivery to those with limited access to health care have ignited a passion to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. In her free time you can find her taking random exercise classes, caring for chickens in her backyard, wrangling kiddos or frolicking with friends at brunch.
