Theawna Trisvan is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as a nurse. She started her career working as a registered nurse in a correctional facility at the age of 21. Theawna went to Wilmington University to pursue her Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner certificate and Doctoral Degree. In the past, she has worked in various settings advocating for patient mental health rights. She served as adjunct nursing faculty at Wesley College in Dover, DE. She has worked in many diverse areas to include: correctional healthcare, long Term Care, home Healthcare, public health nursing, and psychiatry. Both her educational and work experiences have ignited a passion to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. In her free time, you can find her playing tennis, traveling to tropical destinations, volunteering at church events, and of course spending quality time with her family.
