Susan “Libby” Morphis is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her career working as a registered nurse on a very demanding medical-surgical unit. After 8 years of nursing, Libby decided to further her education by obtaining her Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Alcorn State University. She then followed this degree with a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Southeastern Louisiana University. She has worked in many diverse areas including corrections, addiction medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry. Her experience working in very rural areas has created a passion for providing high quality mental health care to all in need regardless of their location. In her free time, Libby enjoys spending quality time with her family, fishing, and riding horses.
