Sonia Dias-Jones is a doctorate-prepared board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career working as a certified nurse assistant in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities at the age of 19. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Sacred Heart University College of Nursing in Fairfield, Connecticut. She has worked in several areas including, geriatrics, rehabilitation, medical-surgical, and Psychiatry in several hospitals and skilled nursing facilities across Connecticut. Her clinical experience in a sizable diverse underserved community with limited access to health care motivated her to start searching for ways to be able to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located or regardless of insurance status. In her free time, you can find her outdoors soaking up the sun, taking care of her plants, and perfecting her baking recipes with her children as her taste testers.
