Shyla Hoff is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career in the Army as a combat medic. After deployment, she worked as an RN in intensive care before attending Vanderbilt University to become a nurse practitioner. Her experience in urgent care made her realize she had to do more to allow every patient access to quality mental health care where patients feel listened to and empowered. Luckily she found her calling, because she can't keep her other passion, plants, alive.
It isn't the big pleasures that count the most, it's making a great deal out of the little ones. -Jean Webster
