ABOUT Sheila M. Jones

Sheila Jones is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She started her career working as a state tested nursing assistant in a psychiatric facility at the age of 16. She went on to obtain her associates degree in Surgical Technology, followed by completing her associates and bachelors degree in nursing. Sheila has worked in surgery and the intensive care unit at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 20 years. She then went on to receive her Masters degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) from Walden University in 2019. She has worked in many diverse areas including both outpatient and inpatient psychiatry with a variety of ages 18 and older. Her training experiences include both large metropolitan and rural areas, as well as providing care to the homeless population with limited access to healthcare. Some of her practice specialties include (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, bipolar, ADHD, and schizophrenia. Sheila is enthusiastic to apply her experiences and passion to provide access to quality and affordable mental health care to individuals, regardless of location. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her family, traveling to sporting events, bike riding, and enjoying a good movie with a bucket of popcorn.
