ABOUT Serena Satcher

Dr. Serena M. Satcher, MD earned a degree in medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Harvard’s NE Deaconess/Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and a second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center. She is board certified in PMR, and by ABoIM (American Board of Integrative Medicine), AHIM (Association of Holistic Integrative Medicine), and IFM-CP (Institute of Functional Medicine-Certified practitioner). Dr. Satcher previously served on the faculty of Northwestern University and University of Illinois both in Chicago, Illinois. She has extensive experience in Integrative and Functional Medicine-Trauma informed approaches to COVID Long Hauler, digestive and food sensitivities issues, autoimmune diseases, and weight management. Dr. Satcher is adept at empowering her private practice members to adopt a wellness mindset and fostering behavioral and lifestyle changes to help improve clinical outcomes.
